The only thing that we ask you to consider is your hygiene. We always appreciate it when our clients come in clean with little smells. We do offer a shower for those who would like to come in early to use it before their massage session. Other than that, we encourage you to drink extra water before and after your session to help your body move out any extra metabolic waste that is pushed out of your muscles and lymph during a massage.

No, our therapists are capable of working with you no matter how many clothes you keep on. Typically people take everything off or leave their bottom underwear on, but that is not required. It’s important to us that you feel safe and comfortable during your session so you are able to relax. Our therapist will securely drape you so you are never exposed in any areas that you don’t want worked on.

Our therapists will go up to 5-minutes over your scheduled time to help accommodate late arrivals. After that, we usually are unable to go longer due to needing our flip time for our next client. Even if you are late, you are responsible for the full amount of your session so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to your appointment.

Unfortunately, we have people who will no call/no show or try to cancel their appointments without enough time to fill the spot. For this reason, we collect a credit card and let our clients know they must give us 24-hour notice if they need to cancel or reschedule. This is to protect our therapists and business from losing income. If you are able to fill your spot with someone else then you won't be charged.

You may already have an idea of what type of pressure feels good for you, but that can change day to day. It’s totally okay to communicate and change your mind on the amount of pressure you want during the entire session. We tend to start with a medium to deep pressure and check in 1 or 2 times during the session. If at any time you want more or less pressure, please communicate that to your therapist so they can adjust accordingly.

When it comes to deep tissue, you don't want the pain level (on a scale of 1-10 & 10 being the most pain you’ve felt) to be more than a 7/10. Anything above that causes the nervous system and muscles to tense up and can even cause more damage than good.

Typically a session consists of a client booking a session of their choice, they arrive early to fill out their health intake, when ready the therapist will take you back to the roomand go over the intake and what you want to focus on. Once this intake is complete, the therapist will instruct you on how to get onto the table and they will step out so you can undress to your comfort level and you will get onto the table under the sheet and blanket. Our therapists will knock before re-entering the room, to ensure you are covered before coming in. From there, the therapist will perform massage on the requested areas, uncovering only the area being worked on, they will recover once they are finished before moving on. You should never be exposed in an area that the therapist isn’t working on and you should always feel safe and secure with the drape, you shouldn’t feel exposed.

Our intake forms are very important for our therapists to work safely. We need to know your medications and health conditions so we don’t cause more harm. We also need to know about injuries and/or limited range of motion so we don’t cause further injury or move your body in an uncomfortable way when giving you a massage. Our intake forms also make us aware of any allergies you have so we can work safely, using only products and oils that are good for your body type.

Our facility is deep cleaned weekly and our rooms are sanitized between every client. We perform daily cleaning and laundry tasks to ensure everything is fresh and welcoming for our clients.

No, it is not beneficial to receive a massage when you are beginning to feel sick. Typically at the beginning of an illness you are the most contagious and your body is using its energy to fight off the sickness. Massage can easily overwhelm your body at this stage so it’s best to reschedule for when you feel better.

It’s very common for people to tip their therapists 20-30% of their service total, but it’s not required. Tips are always very appreciated by your practitioner and the 20-30% is standard, but you can always give more or less.

No, this is not tolerated in most facilities with professional therapists. Being sexual towards your therapist or joking about so, will result in termination of your session and you will be required to pay for your full service. The same goes for inappropriately exposing yourself or touching your therapist. We are very strict about this and doing so will result in you being banned from our facility. Please do not make it weird, we are healthcare professionals and expect to be treated as such.
